The Monsters and Craut Museum of Captain Spaulding is an out -of -way attraction for people who need gas or have nothing better to do with their time. For four young adults, this is the ideal place to check their book.

Jerry (Chris Hardwick) is the group’s fanatic, where the girlfriend is Denise (Erin Daniels) is not as excited about it. Bill (Rainn Wilson) is in it, but not as much as Jerry, and his girlfriend, Mary (Jennifer Jostyn), is even less delighted than Denise. But, as they write a book on such places, they all agree to check it. Jerry buys them tickets to go around the murder of Captain Spaulding, and this is where they learn the legend of Doctor Satan. Jerry dies of desire to know where the tree would have hanged Doctor Satan, so Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) draws a raw card.

Denise and Mary argue with Jerry on the need to see the tree, considering that it is dark and rain. As they debate, Bill spots a woman on the side of the road, hitchhiking. He stops to let the woman enter and she directs them to her house. Unfortunately for the oven, Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), also leads them to their disappearance.

Rufus (Robert Allen Mukes), baby’s brother, pulls their tire. Baby tells others not to worry because “my brother”, that being Rufus himself, has a tow truck and they are at a distance from his house. She and Bill leave the car to get Rufus, and they are soon gathered on the farm, which looks like something of a nightmare.

The night quickly goes from bad to worse as the girls become jealous of baby and how affectionate she is with the boys. There are a lot of arguments, and Mother Firefly (Karen Black) tells them to leave. They do it, but before they can even get off the property, they are attacked by Otis (Bill Moseley) and Tiny (Matthew McGrory) and brought home.

October 31 – Halloween

The group is found in many problems. Bill dies first, transformed into “fish boy” by Otis. Jerry is scalpped by baby, but is left alive. Mary is chained in an outside hut with a lot of recently killed girls. Denise is attached to a bed, where she almost leaves when Tiny lets her go. She does not do it, of course, because it is stopped and throws her into a cage.

Halloween is a big night for the Firefly family, and they celebrate it with excessive quantities of alcohol and murder. Mary tries to run away, but baby grabs her and stab her to death. Denise and an unconscious jerry are placed in a coffin and lowered in the ground, where Jerry is caught by a bunch of people who seek apparently in the mud.

Denise begins to make her way through the tunnel labyrinth, where you can see how the farm has obtained the name of “1000 corpses”. She finds her way to a place that almost looks like a waiting room in a doctor’s office. There are people there, eating, either disfigured or a kind of contraction attached to them. It is here that Denise finds Jerry. Unfortunately, he is attached to the operating table of none other than Doctor Satan (Walter Phelan) himself, who seems to be kept alive by machines. He opened Jerry’s skull and pulls electricity in the brain, pouring the blood from Jerry’s mouth.

Denise takes off when a huge man similar to Cyborg comes to her with an ax. He ends up being his own fall when he swings the ax and overturns a pillar, causing the collapse of the roof. Denise also seems to be caught in the rubble as she falls to the ground.

November 1st

Denise wakes up and crawls towards freedom. She manages to go to a road, where she beckls a car. She is beaten and bleeds and goes easily in the car driven by Captain Spaulding. She says she needs to go to a doctor, and Spaulding tells her that he will take her to one, she just needs to lean back and relax. She ends up vanishing, without realizing that there is someone else in the car with them.

Otis leaves the rear seat. When Denise wakes up, she is the one attached to the table of Doctor Satan.

It was the first film that Rob Zombie made, and I instantly became a fan. He has blood, blood and more gore. And then more blood. However, if you don’t have a strong stomach, you are easily offended or just not used to horror movies, I do not recommend that, at least not immediately. Even for more experienced horror fans, it can be difficult to look at, and I think it was done intentionally. As stupid as it can sound, it takes place as a horror film, which is really difficult to explain unless you have seen it. There are sequences of photo and random videos that make you uncomfortable.

That said, if you can take everything that this film has to offer, with the very strong language and nudity, it is worth it. I looked at horror all my life, and it was one of the very rare who disturbed me when I saw it for the first time. Psychotic people make the best bad guys, mainly because we, as viewers, know that this kind of thing can really happen, even if it is not unconsciously. The film is very exaggerated, just like the Hollywood way, but the crazy and crazy killers who are really there make these kinds of films even more terrifying, the proof of this film being the one that put the brand of Rob Zombie in the world of horror.
