There is a bonus of nostalgia for the original Pixar experience these days. It is in the combination of the familiarity of the formula, winning messaging and – for adults at least – the reminiscence of a bygone era in which Pixar could not hurt. Uniform trade and criticisms have long escaped the studio belonging to Disney, without success of original pixar at the box office since 2017 Coconut. It may not be surprising, then, that their last attempt at reassured relevance recalls this particular Mexican favorite in more than one title.
