Le Mal Aimé, Part 141: The Grudge & Wolf Man | The unloved

I have established, for those who even have a bread room of interest, that my taste for horror is not aligned with the dominant current. I do not respond mainly to the allegory, and I need images to do more than flash and provide blood, which I also like a lot. In other words, I have never met another critic who loves one or the other of the two films that I am rhapsodizing today, the 2019 remake of “The Grudge” and Leigh Whannell in 2025 on “Wolf Man”: Gory, the Odysses screens on the tones of despair.

I found these films moving and specific and fascinating. I would like, as I do with each unloved film, so that the world takes my chance to see things in my own way. I can only offer you my eyes for a moment. I hope you find them useful.
