Recruitment video production for graduates and apprentices
We have been working with Edmundson Electrical for some time to produce recruitment videos to engage their target candidates and attract top talent to open positions. We recently spent a few days on the road with them filming some brand new content to freshen up their recruiting films.
The company often recruits more than 100 graduates and apprentices per year. Therefore, to enable the company to attract the best candidates and showcase the opportunities they offer to potential job seekers, it uses quality and well-produced video content to do so. And as a trusted media partner and provider, Picture Lock Films was commissioned to produce a number of key films to showcase their business for use both online and across social media platforms.
Filming took place over a 3 day period, starting in central London and finishing at one of their business sites in Bristol. Our filming was a mix of topical filming following current graduates and apprentices in their roles, illustrated with key interviews and footage showcasing the company ‘at work’.
For the filming, we used the Sony F5, a Go Pro11 with motion stabilization, a Sony A7Siii and a DJI Mavic cine drone as the main camera, all shot in 4k for the best image quality. Additionally, as the A7S can take photos at the same time as filming, we provided the client with a range of ‘all rights’ photographs to use both in print and online.
After filming, the videos were finalized and posted online with our post-production partner True North Post. where all media was ingested and backed up, whilst providing us with access to fully networked remote AVID editing suites so we could view, record, transcribe and prepare the films for home edits. The completed films were then delivered to the client, according to their preferred technical specifications. You can see one of the completed videos below.
